Department:  FF-Engineer/Paramedic with the White River Township Fire Department since 1996.  Mike has served in the fire service since 1985.   

I was born and raised in Greenwood, Indiana.  I attended Greenwood High School and attended a local Broadcasting Institute and received an Associates Degree in Broadcasting and Sound Engineering.  I joined the fire service in 1985 and have enjoyed every minute of it.  I am currently a Fire Service Instructor II/III and just completed my National Registry to become an Indiana Certified Paramedic in March of 2007.  I am married with one daughter:  a 1 ½ y/o black lab.  I currently run the sound for the MC Axe shows and assist Radar & Curbby with planning future equipment upgrades.  I joined MC Axe and the Firecrew in 2005.  The reason is simple:  We teach the children the dangers of fire and not to play with fire.  If we save one life, it is all worth it
